Fabrication

Architectural metal fabrication is at the heart of what we do. TMRnyc is know for quality, high-tolerance work with steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, and aluminum.

Estimating

Project estimates are prepared based on the projected amount of material and labor required. All estimates can be adjusted based on complexity and material. Estimates generally take a minimum of 48 hours to prepare for small projects.

Fine Finishing

We specialize in a wide variety of patina finishes including hot and cold processes. From blackened steel to mirror polished copper and stainless steel. We know how to achieve the finish you are looking for.

Hole Punching, Shearing and Angle Shearing

Let us make quick work of your project. We can punch square holes, round holes, slotted holes, shear plates, notch angles and bend bars to make brackets, parts and gates. No problem.

Tube and Pipe Rolling

We can roll tubes and pipes up to 2-3/8” square and 3” od round. If you need rings made, gentle arcs or complicated bends. Let us handle your pipes.

Design

With a background in drawing and sculpture and a BA from the Atlanta College of Art, Scott Behr has been designing and building with metal for over 25 years. TMRnyc works with designers, artists and production companies to custom design and fabricate complicated and interesting metal projects.

Engineering and Shop Drawings

Before a project hits the shop floor, shop drawings are drafted to meet the requirements of the build. Field dimensions, site access, finish schedules and project requirements are included in the process. The best fabrication methods are value engineered and chosen to keep costs and labor on time and on budget.

CNC Hi-Def Plasma Cutting

Our Hyper-Therm plasma cutter mated with our 5’ x 10’ CNC plasma cutting table delivers high quality cut parts at a fraction of what Laser and Water Jet cutting. If you can draw it on a computer we can cut it. From 20 gauge steel up to 1” thick plate we love the value this machine brings to our shop.

Tube and Pipe Bending

We can bend pipe and tubing from 0.5” up to 3” outside diameter from any degree up to 180 degrees. From aluminum, steel, stainless steel, to brass. With our indexer we can bend complicated shapes including chairs and race car frames. Our bender bends it all.

Installation

We offer installation services for our projects. We are fully insured to meet your projects needs. From onsite welding and project assembly to the punchlist. Our install team is the best in the business.
